A native of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Rocky has reached a monumental business milestone by growing a business to $1 million in revenue in the first year. A feat only 4% of business owners achieve, according to Forbes.
Rocky's business journey began with one office and two employees in October 2015. He had one vision: becoming the industry's most valued and respected staffing company. By 2016, the company had grown to 160 employees with two locations. Quickly becoming recognized as a force in the staffing market, Certified Source's phenomenal growth continued under Rocky's leadership.
By the company's fifth anniversary, revenue had multiplied by five, and in 2021 Certified Source occupied five locations with a total of 700 employees. With excellent service came significant gains in revenue and recognition. Expertise named Certified Source a top ten staffing company in Oklahoma for 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 and Three Rated Local named it a top three staffing company in Tulsa for 2019, 2020, and 2021.
With a clear vision and adaptable business model, Rocky recreated his success with Certified Source by creating two more businesses in 2019 and 2020: Performance Personnel Partners and Total Clean USA. Performance Personnel currently has five locations, 500 employees, and $10 million in revenue. Although Total Clean USA is still in its infancy, this business hit $1 million in revenue less than a year after being formed. Such achievements are rarely seen in such young businesses or achieved so early in an entrepreneur's career. Still, Rocky's unique perspective and understanding of business are only matched, and possibly upstaged, by his leadership and understanding of people.
Rocky's interest in business organization and leadership was fostered through an undergraduate degree and MBA from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma. Through his experiences and training, he identified key factors to business leadership and management, but it is his unique understanding of company structure and design, along with creative thinking, that set him apart from other young business leaders.
